Yoga Is Meditation
Yoga is Meditation introduces Joyce Reena Appell's work with Jon Kabat-Zinn (Stress reduction guru). Years of meditation retreats have given her direction in teaching yoga movement as an opening to cultivate our Awaiting Calm, our Meditation Birthright.
Hatha Yoga Flow
This class incorporates breath, meditation, movement and restorative techniques. Appropriate for beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
Yoga for Babies & Care Givers
This class introduces asana and pranayama practice as tools for mothers, fathers, and caregivers to access a sense of calm and well-being while bonding with their baby and experiencing the power and comfort of community.
For new mothers, this class also serves to  stretch and tone the body in order to support the physical adjustment to motherhood. This is space where babies can be themselves--crying, babbling, feeding, pooping, diaper changing, and exploring are all part of the babies practice and are embraced in this space. This class is appropriate for caregivers and their babies, ages 6 weeks and older. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
